The IWC Big Pilot Replica chronographs were the only ones to have this function, as Rolex Daytonas also had a tachymeter made of acrylic or steel. Three references were available:

All the watches featured a long triangular stopwatch orange second hand, a two-register layout dial and a date window at 6 o'clock. Bright orange elements were used on both chronographs registers and on the outer seconds markers. The 7100 Series remained in IWC Big Pilot Replica's catalog until around 1977.
